Warragul Citizen Issue 5 OUT TODAY!

Issue 5 of The Warragul Citizen will be out this afternoon.

This issue is the first to be available in Yarragon, through the Yarragon Newsagent, and will still be available through the usual outlets in Warragul and Drouin.

It is also the first issue in a new more regular release cycle for paper, printing bimonthly now instead of quarterly.

The new issue features news articles on the effect of TAFE funding cuts on Baw Baw, the Baw Baw Shire Council’s coal seam gas policy, and switching off council street lighting.

There is also poetry by Ross Uren, a short story by Zachary Coster, Maggie Riddington’s usual environmental insight, as well as community groups notices and Richard Howlett’s Sad Garden cartoon.

Be sure to pick up your copy this afternoon or evening from one of the outlets listed here: www.warragulcitizen.com/distribution

As the paper is distributed by hand and the printers are unable to provide a definite time for release, the exact release time is unknown. Stay tuned at TWC’s Facebook pagehttp://www.facebook.com/warragulcitizen

PS: Keep an eye out for special features releases online in the morning and early afternoon.
