The ‘Out Back’ project is an audio arts piece being assembled to explore the history and diversity of that space close to many people’s hearts; the backyard.
The project is a response to the changing nature of the backyard and asks volunteers to recount memories of their own place out back.
The contributed audio, which can be anything from a sentence to a song about backyard memories, will be assembled into a 15-minute work for broadcast or use in a sound installation, as well as research purposes.
Anyone can become involved in the project and all contributions remain anonymous.
