EXTRA: Scroll down for The Warragul Citizen’s list of the significant timetable changes.

A new V/Line Gippsland line timetable, set to change many services and add new services on weekends, will become effective on Sunday.

Morning peak services to Melbourne will depart two to three minutes earlier than at present and significant changes have been made to the weekend timetable, with the introduction of a new return train on both Saturday and Sunday.

Two afternoon services to Melbourne will also depart earlier, but arrive in Melbourne at the same time.

All services are scheduled to take as long as or longer than under the present timetable.

The new timetables are now available from manned railway stations and online.

V/Line timetables for all lines are now purple and are have been branded by the new Public Transport Victoria body.
